I have been taking this particular liothyronine for many years alongside my levothyroxine and now have been told by the pharmacy that it is no longer available. Could anyone on here please confirm this is the correct information I have been given? I had this particular brand as it was lactose free and gelatin feee. Are there any other brands which do not contain these products? I have now been under medicated for over a month and feel very weak and fatigued now. My GP surgery has expressed I would need to find alternative medication brand and then they would possibly give me a prescription for it..
if anyone could help me it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

I get Thybon Henning too. Roseway Labs are my prescriber. My last script was end of October for 100 tablets 20mcg so maybe since I last got mine, there is now a problem obtaining it.
Roseway would probably be able to tell you if there genuinely IS a problem obtaining Thybon or if your pharmacy is misleading (lying?) to you.
( I only mention this because my pharmacy lies to me and says they can't get my Accord T4, when Lloyds pharmacy in the next village, has no problem getting it.)
I would look up Roseway's number for you, only I'm not at home and so I'm sending this from my phone.
I get my TH on NHS from Tollesbury and they have just supplied my latest script with no issue. I think you have been lied to. If your GP is giving you scripts for TH Tollesbury will accept electronic ones sent direct from GPs and charge the same as NHS prices - £65 I think helvella
Details of excipients (inactive ingredients) for all UK thyroid hormone products are in my medicines documents:
helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. There is now a specific desiccated thyroid document.

The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrixes for levothyroxine tablets, oral solutions and also liothyronine available in the UK. Latest updates include all declared ingredients for all UK products.
