Was thyroid test done early morning, ideally before 9am and only water to drink between waking and test ?

Autoimmune thyroid disease with goitre is Hashimoto’s

Both are autoimmune and generally called Hashimoto’s.

20% of autoimmune thyroid patients never have high thyroid antibodies and ultrasound scan of thyroid can get diagnosis

Yes test was done at 8am before reading or drinking. No up to date vitamin tests yet, these have been ordered including Tgab this afternoon. Dr also doing pituitary test. I guess this is for Central hypo. My husband has been on TRT for 10 years for very low T. He self injects.

He has high uric acid even on medication and has had chronic headaches for a long as he can remember. As with many men, he's doctor shy and has just learnt to live with how he feels.
