Hi, Just curious. Was just diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis. I believe it has been going on for years & reasons to believe possibly not acquired but congenital.
I know thyroid issues do not cause it & if there is a congenital aspect to mine of course it is not the reason. But researching any links about progression & correlation with hypothyroidism. One of the reasons I am asking is that I truly felt that adding t3/Cytomel gave me a bit of jolt with walking at first, which has been severely affected by this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you as always SlowDragon. That first link is very informative, noting that for others reading as it discusses how many bodily functions are impacted by the thyroid.
Much better thankfully - into range now, but still not great -
T4: 14 (9-19)
T3 3.4 (2.6 -5.8)
--------
TSH 4.72 (.32 - 4.0)
Unfortunately due to expense back on Synthroid @275. Do not wish to be. Feel the best on NDT. But my last increase sent me into $$$$ territory. My labs were always abysmal on NDT, but I felt my best. Which is strange.
Have added 6.25 Cytomel this week to 250 Synthroid.
SD Thank you for your very informative and helpful posts. I could not access the the maxiliving.com. Would love to read it. If you can please tell me how I can access it please? Thank you.
