Small Levo increase - feeling worse.

OK, so I know that people regularly come here with questions about this. But I'm asking anyway because I feel crap and want some assurance/hugs.

My dose has increased from 50 to 75/50. I started that increase to 75 on Friday. I'm not posting results and stuff here because I've done that recently and it's very obvious that I need to increase as my TSH is going up not down. I just want someone to tell me it's OK to feel like a lead weight and that it will get better. I have fluid retention on overdrive. When I try to walk I'm walking slowly. My hip is painful and under one heal is threatening plantar facsitis. I have no interest in anything much. I feel like I'm outside looking in onto life through a window.

I'm surprised that such a small increase could do this. Anyone else felt like this and been OK after a few days?

Dreading work tomorrow.

Have you got some 25mcg tablets as well as your 50mcg ones now? Are they the same brand?

I'm only using 25mcg tablets. All Wockhart. No 50's yet.

I've been taking Wockhart for months now.

A dose change can require some adjusting. Personally I always felt better within three days but I don’t think this is common. I always used to try to adjust at the weekend. Good luck tomorrow

It will get better but maddeningly it takes time. I think you said before that your ferritin is low, which is probably a part of why you’re struggling now? With the PF and the hip - what were your Vit D levels? Have they been tested?

Yes, Vitamin D was tested. 115. Maddeningly no reference range! But it does say it's a normal result and that over 50 is sufficient so I don't think it's likely to be that. Ferritin is 32.9 (10-200). Low. But I'm surprised it's low enough to cause this much trouble. I don't understand transferrin saturation index percentage and how that plays into the mix. That's not very high either. 21% (16-50).

I guess I just have to give it time and hope. The trouble is I'm much worse in the day. I recover a bit at night. I feel brighter now. It makes me not want to go to bed because I fear waking up feeling crap again.

Oh well, I'm seeing a new doctor in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping she might be able to help.

Still giving it time. Still feeling rubbish. I alternated 50/75mcg Levo for a week. Then tried 75 two days in a row because I had felt so tired on my last 50 day and I needed to get stuff done. Then today I thought "it'll be alright!" and took another 75 this morning so that was 75mcg x 3 days in a row. And it's not OK. My chest feels tight and sore. I feel anxious. I've just swept the kitchen floor and hoovered the sitting room and my heart was going like the clappers and I'm sweating and hot.

I guess this means I need to go back to 50/75 for another week? Or should I try 50/75/75 for a week? Any thoughts?

I barely coped with work this week. And today I have to drive 100 miles to go fetch my parents over for Dad's birthday and then take them back later. 25miles each way adds up when you have to do it 4 times in a day. And be cheerful and entertaining...

Is it bedtime yet?
