I had to attend A & E last night on the advice of 111 . My TSH has risen to 2.2 from 0.79 only 5 weeks again (they do not test T3 or T4 in A & E unless abnormal TSH. Other tests were normal like liver, kidney and ESR which were tested due to recent infection.
Could you advise if I should ring the GP to request T4 and T3 due to the rise in TSH and palpitations (I get these over and under medicated)). I started a new brand of thyroid tablet yesterday morning (I posted on here about it with a lot of helpful comments). Also, do I continue on the new tablet this morning or revert back to Accord until bloods are done if GP agrees.
I have had a feeling of heaviness in my legs since August and not feeling right and this was before the infection so I’m not sure if Accord is responsible and not delivering the dose, or if I am not converting now with a lot of severe stress over the summer prior to August also.
Feb 23 TSH was 0.79 and T4 upper range T3 was 3.9 though and I was advised this was quite low in range
TSH was tested at 6.30 pm last night so could this have been higher if it had been taken early am and before tablet?
Sorry for the questions. Thank you again for your help if you are able.
