Serum TSH level 4.6 mu/L [0.27 - 4.2]; Above high reference limit
Serum free T4 level 14.6 pmol/L [12.0 - 22.0]
Serum free triiodothyronine level 4.5 pmol/L [3.1 - 6.8] these were my previous results
This is what came back yesterday Serum TSH level 1.3 mu/L [0.27 - 4.2]
am I still under active , current taking 100mg of levethyroxine
To know how you are doing you'd need your fT3&4 levels... how are you feeling?
I’m still not feeling right but better than I was , my throat is one of my issues my voice changes sometimes and I gag when i try to look left , right and up , wierd pain ?
Looking at your last post the test was at 10.40am so your TSH would have been higher if taken earlier... how long have you been on 100mcg?
Been on 100mg for around 6 weeks
Bit early for it to have settled, have you tried splitting your dose? Might smooth things out...
"had other tests says chemistry all borderline" presumably borderline low? Supplements play an import part as Regen says
I have tried to split my dose but I take other tablets in morning aswell as at night , so spacing them out is a bit of a pain , I now take lansopromole at 4 ish as not to interfere with morning dose of levethyroxine, so not sure how it would effect my evening dose ?
Do you have high stomach acid then? Most of us suffer from very low acid
sometimes I do , but not all the time order pends on what I’ve drank or eaten , just don’t want nothing to interfere with the absorption
Ideally change your diet so that you can drop the PPI to help with levo uptake 🤗
I'd ask for an ultra sound 🤗

what is the timeline for the results above? You have two vastly different TSH results.
Did you get vitamin D, B12, ferritin and folate tested? Having these optimal (not just in the range) can make a world of difference for symptoms.

First results were 15th September, 2nd result yesterday ,my vitamin d is ok , had other tests says chemistry all borderline
Oh wow, so TSH dropped rapidly in a very short space of time, do you know your current FT3 and FT4? They will help to understand where you are.
If you share the actual vitamin results and ranges them members will chip in with suggestions for you. Getting these right really helps to improve your absorption and conversion of the thyroid hormone replacement.
Throat - not unusual for this to be silent reflux, I didn’t believe it till an ENT stuck a camera down my throat and showed me my red raw larynx. It’s different to regular reflux, caused by low FT3, low stomach acid impacting stomach’s ability to shut the top valve correctly. I had a sore throat for years before I got help here to fix it and it’s vanished.
Neck pain not uncommon, could be nodules, inflammation of thyroid and surrounding tissues. Do you have a goitre?
How long were you hypothyroid before diagnosis? There is no quick fix info it takes time. 🌱
The 100 is making a difference, I never felt so poorly , but now I’m starting to feel better , fts and 4 not on my results ? Says no further action , so am I still under active , sorry new to all of this
The word "underactive" refers to the amount of thyroid hormone your thyroid produces.
That will not have risen, and likely has reduced, due to taking levothyroxine. So your thyroid is still at least as underactive as it was!
But the amount of T4 in your blood stream available to your body, will have increased.
What are your actual results for Vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Have you had thyroid antibodies tested yet for autoimmune thyroid disease aka Hashimoto’s
