Please advise on latest results

Hi all,

Please see my latest results, I am on 100mcg Levo and 3 x 5mcg Compounded T3. Tests were done approximately 10 hours after my last dose of T3 and 24 hours after my T4.

I feel I am still undermedicated on T3, my fingertips are cold, I have weight loss resistance even though am very active, I suffer from exhaustion and slow motility. My face is puffy and haven't had a period this month (on day 30 and usually 23-26 days) - think I am in Peri Menopause.

Free T4 (fT4) 17.8 pmol/L (12 - 22) 58.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 3.9 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 21.6%

Your free hormone lvels are still on the low side despite TSH being .313 and vitamins looking good.

You have a tiny amount of inflammation which might be raising ferritin a little.

You might try a different form of T3 in case that suits you better. Your results are not reflecting that you are on 15mcgs T3. Perhaps the immediate release might be better.

You could also increase T3 by 5mcgs.

Thanks. I am on immediate release, it's just compounded rather than liothyronine brand.

Best way to increase slowly as to not affect adrenals?

what would the ideal range be for T3?

The smallest realistic increase is usually 5mcgs anyway unless you want to get 2.5mcgs compounded?

Can do, will that be another dose i will build too (ie 4 x 5mcg) or 6.66mcg x 3

Maybe take 10mcg first thing then 5mcg late afternoon and 5mcgs before bed.

Great, thank you for your help. I am seeing endo on Thursday and will see Reverse T3 results and Adrenal results.

If the reverse T3 is high, would I drop T4 slightly?

The consensus of this group is that RT3 isn't useful as it can be affected by many things and only one of them is thyroid.

If RT3 should be raised then you might need to look at other factors.
