I've recently been. Suffering with tingling and pins and needles in my hands, gradually getting worse instead of better. I have had burning feet at night as soon as I get into bed which for me is weird because I'm always cold can anyone advise please, am I lacking a vitamin.

When were thyroid and vitamin levels last tested

Are you still on 100mcg levothyroxine

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum

Request GP test thyroid and vitamin levels

Low B12 very common as we get older and extremely common on levothyroxine especially if dose needs fine tuning

Many (most?) people on levothyroxine need to supplement vitamin D, magnesium and vitamin B complex continuously to maintain good vitamin levels

Some also need separate B12, especially initially if levels are low

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Come back with new post once you get results

if GP unhelpful

My arm tingling, fizzy/numb feeling cleared up with B complex and extra B12. Comes back if I lower my dose. Was tested for neck damage MRI and neurological tests on nerves in fingers. Definitely get tested and ask GP to test for pernicious anaemia. Common to have both PA and AI thyroid. 🌱
