On 50mcg Levothyroxine gp wanted to suspend but I requested to stay on it even 'tho I am only boarder line now. I have developed numbness and pins and needles in my feet and lower legs, I did mention it GP without any response. Twelve years ago following chemotherapy I had only slight tingling in my feet but nothing like this. Any thoughts ?

Low B12? Have you had your nutrients tested?
Why does your doctor want to stop your levo? Does he not realise that the only reason you are now 'borderline' is because you're taking levo? I would think you need an increase in dose. 'Borderline' hypo is a long was from optimal. Obviously, he doesn't know much about thyroid.
A little boost of Levo may be enough to take toll on/highlight your existing resources - ask to be tested if your levels of B12, Irons, Vit D are adequate - optimum is better
I had my pins and needles when my iron and B12 were low. I managed to raise them up to the mid range and they disappeared.
