Anyone have MY GP app?

Don't know if it has always been there but just nosing about and found all the tests and therapies offered on a private pay for it basis. And people think the NHS isn't being privatised by stealth.

So thought I'd have a little nosey, It's saying get quick convenient tests and advice on results by a GP, what it doesn't say is whether the GP reviewing can find his own backside with both hands or the fact that your own GP will completely ignore your results.

At least the Thyroid tests are listed under hormone testing. , advanced test TSH, T4, T3, TPOAb and TGAb, so surgeries refuse to appropriately monitor and test but must obviously benefit from some form or reciprocal agreement from these private providers. Or more to the point if not the GP surgeries who is being rewarded for participating in this little business partnership?

πŸ˜‚ "what it doesn't say is whether the GP reviewing can find his own backside with both hands"

Not sure any of mine can achieve that!

"So advertised on NHS app? but no guarantee GP will take any notice"

Even when they request the tests themselves we all know it's a lottery whether they have the ability to understand and act upon them πŸ˜• possibly more likely to take umbrage that you have shown some initiative

Yes, mine was not happy when I pointed out the TSH is not actually produced by thyroid gland but a pituitary hormone. He responded of course but it stimulates the Thyroid and my response in frustration it can't stimulate mine it's in a jar somewhere. πŸ€‘πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Similar response theme, walked into ward day after had an interview for a deputy ward manager job, didn't get it, my manager, male complete Ass, said is a smarmy voice in front of a dozen people " OOh I'm quite surprised, you actually know your stuff, so your not a complete idiot then" it was meant to make me feel small, no one ever talked back misogynistic idiot I turned on him " No Gary , unlike you I am not a complete idiot, my thyroid gland is in a jar somewhere, What's your excuse" I was so angry, his mouth opened and closed no sound and there was rapturous applause and laughing. He didn't try that again ,
