Can anyone recommend a good effective brand. All suggestions welcome.
In the past I've used the Solgar Brand but I haven't noticed much difference. Likewise not much difference using Betaine HCI on its own either.

Haven't previously found any that helped me, so can't recommend. However, I recently became aware of a Digestive Enzyme Collagen, and have been wondering whether it might be useful. If you're interested, search it and you should find at least one good brand.
I see it! Yes it looks very promising. The one I'm looking at anyway ( Edible Health) The only thing that gives me a bit of pause is the added lacto bacillus. I suspect I have sibo and previous experience taking that strain seems to aggravate things.
Some enzymes and probiotics can cancel each other out. Saccharomyces Boulardii is a great probiotic for SIBO.Enzymes are fragile molecules and sensitive to temperature changes. To be safe, start with the freshest ones that are shipped kept in coolers.
I've been using Tudca for the last two months and I'm doing consistently perfect Bristol 4 💩every morning 😁

This might be because you took too few.
I get mine online from Just for Tummies - worked for me. She runs a very helpful and supportive website.
I have had much success with Time Health Digestive Enzymes. They’re a bit expensive but I wouldn’t be without them. I take them now when I’m doubtful if I will digest a meal well but I find that they work even after a meal if I get pain.
I think I took them regularly to start with but probably use them several times a week now so the bottle lasts longer.
Thank you for the suggestion. How many would you say you take a day or before each meal?
I take Dr Mercola Full Spectrum Enzymes. I know anything emanating from the US carries a bit of a premium price tag but my own experience (over decades) with Mercola's supplements is that they are superior in quality so (for me) they represent a good investment.
I've looked at it and it does look like good quality, thanks for the suggestion!
