I just received an email which appeared to be from LIoyds_Direct_
The subject: Take control of your NHS prescriptions, with free delivery or collection
I have included an image of how the email looks in my email program (Outlook).
This is some form of scam or malware delivery.
If you get such an email DELETE IT. If you know how, delete it permanently. (If not, don't worry.)
DO NOT open it.
How do I know?
First, my email system marked it as junk!
Second, that second letter is a capital letter-i. Not a lower-case-L. So it isn't even the name of the pharmacy.
Third, ending an email identifier with an underscore at the end is somewhat odd and not what you'd expect from a company.
Therefore, without even looking inside it, it is obviously highly suspicious.
Once a scam merchant starts, they very often work the field. That is, having done this faking one pharmacy, they might well do something similar for many other pharmacy names.
And they might use a whole host of different subject lines.
These things are always going round. But as so many here deal with UK online pharmacies, it is a particular danger to members.
