The above link is from the US - but the information within is interesting. There is so much information on the internet about the Flu Vaccine and I personally would not have the jabs. It is a very personal decision. Personally I think it is better to keep VitD levels at a good level along with other vitamins and minerals. Also tap your Thymus gland - it secretes helper cells and watches over the immune system :-)

You are welcome ! Check out professor Chris Exley - a guy who has studied aluminium and has some thoughts on it. Not always contained in all flu vaccines - but possibly some. Also remember the flu vaccine does not protect you against new strains only ones they know about. Check the ingredients too. Surgeries are given incentives to prescribe jabs ... :-(

Hi Ladybex,

I had the flu jab last week along with the pneumovax jab but I was very undecided! I think, along with any medical condition, your lifestyle also has to affect your risk. I am susceptible to colds/flu and travel on buses, trams and trains, all of which are a hotbed of viruses at this time of the year. It’s really difficult to know what is the best thing to do. I found it even harder because I knew my husband would go along with my decision and have the same jabs. I would have felt responsible if it was a bad decision. However he had no reaction at all, no sore arms, nothing! At least the pneumovax was a one-off and never needs to be repeated.

There is a lot of conflicting advice. We each have to do what we think is best in our particular case.

Hope you stay well.

Best wishes

Caroline

Just to mention I had a slightly sore arm at the site of the flu jab for a day or two but no further reaction at all. I have hashimoto’s.

Hope the help and advice from this site has helped you make a decision😊

Best wishes

Caroline

I’ve never had one - I decline every year - but as you see loads of people do and seem to be ok. I wash my hands regularly with soap and water, avoid touching door handles and banisters, avoid touching my face, avoid people who cough or sneeze and drink loads of water.

Russian roulette, and very worrying to see the latest figures on the chances being much higher of having dementia the more flu vaccines you have. Dr Chris Exley from Keele University has been studying the effects of aluminium for 30 + years and has examined brains with huge amounts of aluminium in the brains of those who had had the flu vaccine.
