I have just received my results and it has been suggested I contact my gp within a week. Should I be alarmed? I feel fine apart from being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitus. Iwas so fatigued I thought my thyroid was out of whack, but this was lightly to have been the UC. The results are on a sliding scale but I’ve put what I think are the ranges in. I would be grateful for any advice. I take Thyroid S one and a half grains per day in 2 doses which has been reduced recently, I stress I feel fine and not hyperthyroid. Thank you for your time in advance.

presumably you remembered to stop B complex before this test
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)
You do need to actually test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin at least annually
How much vitamin D are you taking daily
Do you also supplement magnesium
High thyroid antibodies confirms Hashimoto’s (autoimmune thyroid disease)
Are you on strictly gluten free diet and/or dairy free diet
Hi thank you for your response. Yes I split the dose and I’m not on steroids they didn’t suit me I had loads of side effects. I hadn’t had any supplements for a month or more. I’ve been so poorly with UC I just kept on basic NDT for a while. I experienced crippling fatigue hence the test. I wondered if I needed a slight rise but it’s tricky . Do you think an extra quarter 3 xs per week would do?
