so found a post about 8 months old, as always lots of good advice pointers but then for some reason I never responded.

I will try to rectify this

Pennyannie asked if I got round to buying T3, worked out my conversion rate as 5.53 / 5.69 . Asked why I had Thyroidectomy , never given a definitive answer, don't remember being given blood results, apparently they queried colloid goitre, mentioned possibility of cancer, had a fine needle aspiration, fine needle my hairy arse. Results were inconclusive, told I needed it out , never had it scanned. Asked surgeon to try and save some hoping to avoid tablets. Afterwards he told me he couldn't save anything as it was completely covered in "nodules" so it all went. Took a week to tell me it was not cancer. I guess maybe my parathyroids took the hit too. This op was 1995, I did get some T3, in May, took for 9 weeks and then had blood s done. Early days but cholesterol is improving down to 4.49 from 5.6 in January. T3 at 5.51. but HbA1c was 50in January now 54.

SeasideSusie cortisol at 552, it randomly goes high but this surprised me, not taking any supplement, my latest bloods 10/07, CRP now 8.22, ferritin 216 cortisol now back at 357. T4 dose remained the same for both tests, vit D dose taking 2 4000iu a day and vit K2-MK7 , still taking vit B complex and recently started with 600ug folate daily as folate dropped again to 20.50 at last bloods 10 th July. vit D at last bloods 116, always took same dose but have been more careful to not forget

Hi Polo22 don’t worry it’s such a busy forum things like this happen.

Use the @ symbol before their username when writing in the message box and it automatically links them in the message E.g pennyannie and SeasideSusie

Hey there Polo :

Initially I was probably expecting a reply - especially if it was one of my long detailed comments but after a few days it's impossible to keep it all current in one's mind -

No worries and more power to you for owning up !!
