My recent blood tests showed my TSH has increased from 1.12 to 2.4 and I haven’t changed anything. Is there a reason this would happen or does it just fluctuate? I have been eating a lot of cruciferous everyday. Would that have an impact? My FT4 has remained pretty constant.

Yes, TSH fluctuates, by the hour, illness, all sorts. This is why it tested more than once before a diagnosis is confirmed. Medically speaking, they call it ‘transient’. It’s a shame medical professionals are not adequately trained because if they did they check FT4 and FT3 to give you a true status of your thyroid.
