Can you add the FT4 result please, you've only put the range.

Folate is very low. Do you take a B Complex or any other supplements?

Hi Seaside S sent a reply to myself by accident.🙄T4 is 13.4. I can't take B supplements at the moment due to GABA receptor damage from diazapam. They cause a reaction. B12 and Vitamin D are fine ferritin and folate are low.

Hi SeasideSusie, thanks for replying, I can't take any B vitamins as I'm in withdrawal from diazapam ( came off 1st March) they cause a flare up. However my B12 has been tested and is fine.

We need to see exact results, also the reference range for each test as they vary from lab to lab.

A 'fine' test result may well be too low as the reference range cut off is too low for instance.

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not I need treatment, judging by these tests and the fact that I feel lousy😜

Your results are on the low side and working on getting key vitamins to OPTIMAL will help raise your TSH which might help you get a diagnosis.

Please respond by using the reply button directly below where my reply is as then I will get a notification. At the moment you are replying to yourself and SeasideSusie won't get a notification that you have replied to her.

Your folate is too low and will be causing you issues, likely your B12 is also low.

Do add actual results for any vitamin tests you have had done - ferritin & D3 also.

Hi Jaydee, thanks for your reply. B12 is 569 and the range is 130 - 900. Ferritin is 46 and the range is 15- 300. Can't find the vitamin D result but I supplement every day with D3 and K2. so it should be ok. I also take selenium and Zinc.

That would be a serum B12 and it would be better slightly higher. I'd suggest you take a B complex and try one that is non methyl which might suit you better as you really need the folate inparticular. This one would fit the bill. evitamins.com/uk/b-complex-...

You need to get an iron panel done and start eating chicken livers or pate regularly a few times a week.

The fact that I'm replying to myself gives you some idea of my mental state!. Many thanks for your help.
