Draft of NICE B12 deficiency guidelines has been put online.

Vitamin B12 deficiency in over 16s: diagnosis and management

In development [GID-NG10176] Expected publication date: 16 January 2024

There is a thread started today on the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum:

High five 🤚 I got a response from Nice Guide Lines.

healthunlocked.com/pasoc/po....

It makes for more sense for people to contribute to the discussion on the PAS forum - or involve with NICE directly - than to reply here.

However, in case there are any comments which are specific to B12 in relation to thyroid issues I'll leave replies open.

Just adding that "thyroid" does get a mention:

health conditions:

− atrophic gastritis affecting the gastric body

− coeliac disease or another autoimmune condition (such as thyroid disease, Sjögren’s disease or type 1 diabetes)
