I've switched to a single am dose of T3 and already things have improved, this was last night and even with 3 trips to the garden before 2am πΆπ¦πobviously done whilst sleep walking as it barely raised my HR
My HRV has already jumped up from mid teens to mid twenties too π

I have stopped wearing my ring as my sleep is so poor.. it was causing more stress. I dose T3 three times a day, my last being at 6pm.. I think I need to experiment with different times. Do you feel one dose is enough to keep you going until the next day?
I always found that one dose worked better right from the start as I get the droops in between when I split the dose, which seems totally nonsensical but seems to tie in with cortisol levels as it aids getting it into the cells which is where it is needed, my cortisol is better first thing... some people find that flooding their system works best for them than a steady flow but it's trial and error
Then I got put on Roma and have tried various timings to try and make it work for me... many people say a late dose aids sleep.... turns out one dose is still the best as even the 2pm dose was keeping my heart rate higher until 4am
I'm find this ring really insightful and gives me the confidence to tailor things to my bodies needs, it's actually more useful than the blood tests as it's more holistic π
Have you had a cortisol test? GP's only do 9am serum cortisol but worth a look if you have had it done in the past... For most people is should be at a better level in the morning but the saliva tests are useful π€
I'd maybe drop back to 2/3rds am and 1/3 2pm for a few days and then drop to one dose so you don't shock your system.... see how it feels
I was just taking one Pure whole adrenal and I stopped for a week I think before testing... I could go and have a rummage in my old posts as it was only at the beginning of this year... π
They say with hydrocortisone to stop for 24 hours...
Thank you I will have a look.. I did try a little HC a month ago 2.5mg am and 2.5mg lunch time, it helped me with the hypoglycaemia but made me very depressed and suicidal.. I have been on it many times before and never got that reaction .
I take a couple of the things listed in those links, but I don't stop taking them for cortisol tests because I wouldn't do well without them. Plus I've been on them a very long time.
Don't forget that if you are taking drugs which are intended to alter your cortisol level that you might want to keep taking it as normal when testing to see if the treatment level is adequate. Alternatively you might want to see how you do without it. So it depends on what you really want to know and what your goal is.
Worth sticking a few reminder notes around the place as auto pilot kicks in and scuppers you with the whole no eating or drinking for a hour before etc... I found it quite a brain workout just filling in the form!
It'll be really useful to know what your levels are
I was splitting doses three times a day. I experimented with one dose per day-at bedtime, (35 mcg liothyronine) and I don't get the "droops" nearly as much as when I split doses.
π once for the loo... twice more because she is a manipulative little monster who loves mooching around in the dark and being carried down and up the stairs so as not to disturb the snoring one π π It's quite nice actually having a little moment with the moon, she is certainly my little mini me dog πor demon as we refer to them... the chubby, snoring JR is definitely his demon
