Can I travel to Spain with NDT

Hi everyone,

We are travelling to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in a few weeks and I am on Erfa Thyroid NDT.

What do I need to travel with this please? And is it legal in Spain (I’m just found out from an old post on here it’s illegal in France 😱).

I will ask my private Doctor for a letter to travel with, but just wondering if anyone else has done this please?

I have travelled abroad with my NDT many times, though not recently. I always carry a print out of my prescription list... GP can print out for you. I keep my tablets in the labelled containers. I carry them in my hand luggage incase suitcase gets lost in transit.Never had a problem..

I’ve travelled many times but never been challenged. Just in case, I take with me: a photocopy of the prescription and the most recent letter from the consultant.

I travel to and from mainland Spain with thyroid medication with no problem. If you look on the airline site you will probably find information about what you can and can't take listed by country (Spain is on the list).
