TSH query

Hi everyone, my daughter is amazingly pregnant 🎉 despite having cancer and full thyroidectomy. Her TSH was always suppressed prior to this but is now raised. Was 4.5 then 3.5 and last one 3.7. They have increased her thyroxine again. Any other thing she could be doing to help bring it down??

She’s legally entitled to copies of her actual test results

Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine

TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 and vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Always test early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Thank you for your reply, she seems to be monitored closely and will be seen in 4 weeks.

Her TSH needs to be kept below 2.5 while she is pregnant.

I think that is the aim, just does not seem to be going down. 😳
