Did you follow our advised testing protocol:
* Test no later than 9am
* Water only before the test (breakfast after)
* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before test
* No biotin, B Complex or other supplement containing biotin for 3-7 days before the test
How do you feel?
How much Levo do you take?
How much Levo did you take when you were getting the palpitations and what were your results at that time?
Thank you for your reply SS. I always do my tests before 9 and no levo for 24 hours prior etc. I was taking 100mcg and found that I was excruciatingly tired, really fatigued, so I very reduced it 3 days a week to 50mcg, left it for 6 weeks and retested. My palpitations have decreased, not completely but much better than they were.
So you were taking a total of 700mcg a week (100mcg daily) before and now 4 x 100mcg plus 3 x 50mcg which is 550mcg per week which averages 78.5mcg daily.
There's a possibility that, like me, you may need longer than 6 weeks for everything to settle down, I usually need 8-10 weeks, so you could carry on with your current dose and see how things are in a few weeks.
Palpitations can be a symptom of both under and over active thyroid. You obviously aren't over medicated (your FT4 is only 54% through range and FT3 is just 9.73% through range) but your FT4 and FT3 results show a very low FT3 level and this could be causing you to feel unwell. For most people FT4 and FT3 should be more or less in balance over half way through range.
What were your results for TSH, FT4 and FT3 when on 100mcg daily? If there was a similar disparity with FT4 and FT3 then it's quite possible that you might need T3 added to Levo, but that can only be considered when all key nutrients are optimal. Do you have current results for Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin?

OK, that gives a full picture.
Looking at your May results from Medichecks INUVI lab you hav e
FT4: 22.7 (12-22) which is 107% of range
FT3: 4.7 (3.1-6.8) = 43.24% through range
So that shows poor conversion as you need an over range FT4 to achieve FT3 just 43% through range.
I have just read your post from last August when your endo discharged you and your Medichecks results from last July here:
healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
It was clear that at that time your conversion was showing as poor
Good conversion needs optimal nutrient levels. You do have good levels of B12 and Vit D but your ferritin and folate are still poor, as they were back then.
Some experts say that the optimal ferritin level for thyroid function is 90-110ug/L so that needs a fair amount of work, and folate is recommended to be at least half way through range so with the range used this time you're looking at 35 plus.
Are you taking a B Complex? It might be worth taking a folate supplement as well, maybe use one bottle of an extra 400mcg, retest when it's finished and see what difference it's made. Still take the B Complex though. This is the one I used when I needed to bump up my folate level:

It might be worth adding a bit extra Levo to try and get your FT4 closer to 19-20 (12-22) and work on ferritin and folate. If you can get these up to optimal levels and your conversion is still poor (more than 4 when you divide FT3 into FT4) then I think you may need to consider adding T3.
