itchy skin caused by heat

I have a number of ailments, hypothyroidism, ME/CFS, Menopause & Fibromyalgia so I don’t know which, if any, are causing my skin to itch so bad in the heat? I avoid the sun & use sunscreen which I thought would help but the itching is persistent.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thank you, the article is very interesting & I have suffered for years with what I call prickly heat but even avoiding sun isn’t helping.

Hi there I don't have long to reply but your list is my list as it were...! Anti histamine tablets for hives type itch? I slather on E45 quick absorb cream plus there is Anthisan anti histamine cream sorry if you've tried all these. Hope you get relief

Thank you, yes tried it all, got some steroid cream a few months back when it was a warm spell but it’s not really a solution.

Oh I'm sorry...I guess you've spoken to GP? Or as an outside the box suggestion, acupuncture? Just throwing it out there....over production of histamine?? Not that I know much.

I did a few months back & got some hydrocortisone cream. It took about a week or two to ease so not sure if I need to see dr again for more? Just trying to get other people’s thoughts as I have all the ailments & trying to narrow it to something specific that I can do something about.
