Jasperrasper,

Welcome to our forum and sorry no-one has responded.

DHEA’s metabolites turn into oestrogen (& testosterone, etc) and is made primarily by the adrenals. Low DHEA is often accompanied by low cortisol levels as compromised adrenals function poorly in long term hypothyroidism.

DHEA is also classed as a controlled class C drug in the UK so unavailable to purchase OTC or have imported.

Resources that might be informative to you are a book called 'Your Healthy Pregnancy With Thyroid Disease' by Dana Trentini and Mary Shomon, and websites such as ‘hypothyroidmom’ who had a Hashi-pregnancy herself. Also Isabella Wentz has a vast website and went through Hashi-pregnancies.
