Does anyone find they have a preference for a specific brand of liothyronine? I’m wondering why I am feeling less well after a recent brand change. ( It could be a complete coincidence. )
Currently I seem to be stuck with what I’m given, and beggars can’t be choosers!
Please consider putting in Yellow Card reports on medicines that do not seem to have the same effect as others.
It's quite likely it is the brand change that isn't suiting you. You can get GP to write your preferred brand in the first line of the prescription to ensure you get what you want.

Thanks. Had already requested a change back to Morningside, but this didn’t happen. Have submitted another request! Currently have Roma.

Many thanks. I take 5mcg x2 daily. I shall suggest having 20cm and cutting into four, thereby saving them money.
you should always insist on the same brand. even though the drugs are supposed to be 'biosimilar' the body does process them differently. please speak up and nicely demand what you need.
