Just got my test results, done this morning . I’ m on 125 levo since November and I don’t feel well. I have a lot of ups and downs. I get a lot of dizziness and I'm so tired, the last two weeks have been awful. When I’m like this, I feel really anxious. I would like some advice on my results please… Do I need to increase my dosage? My T3 has gone down since October. Thank you.

I normally take Thorne B complex plus iron and vitamin D but I’ve been travelling for work and a couple of funerals and I had a lot of misses the last couple of months. I know it’s s not the right thing to do.
improving vitamin levels should help improve conversion rate of Ft4 to FT3
Ft4 shows plenty of room for dose increase in Levothyroxine
Perhaps try adding extra 12.5mcg daily

I’ m gluten free but not dairy. There is one thing I don’ t understand, my T3 has gone down despite taking a higher dose … my B12 has gone down too.( I was higher than the top of the range). I will try to improve my vitamins. Thank you for your reply.
To some extent conversion rate is controlled by TSH
So lower TSH is likely reducing conversion rate
This is why many people then need to add in small doses of T3 (and reduce Levothyroxine a little)
Thank you, I didn’t know that.I’ m self- medicated so getting some T3 will be difficult. I can’t find an endo who is going to listen. So far, no luck. They just want to reduce my dose based on the Tsh. I’m in France. How do I get some T3? Thanks
it’s generally easier to get hold of T3 (liothyronine) without prescription than it is levothyroxine

I get T3 here in France prescribed by my GP. It's Cynomel made here by Sanofi. If your GP won't prescribe it go to an Endo that may help. Years ago I could always get T3 from my Pharmacy without a prescription but now everything is on computer that's stopped.
Thank you for your reply. My endo doesn’t even want to give me the right dosage of levo so asking some T3 will be a challenge. 😀
Oh sorry I hope you find some T3 in your answers. I haven't got my thyroid so I suppose it's easier for me when asking for medications.
Hopefully I will if I need T3 in the future. But for now, I’m going to increase a bit my levo and my vitamins. After that, I will see if T3 is an option. Have a nice we.

what was the reason for prescribing such a high dose of levo? Did you have your thyroid removed?
My dose of levo is not high or low… and I probably will need to increase it a bit. I’m not sure what to say. I still have a lot of symptoms on this dose. I didn’t have my thyroid removed.
do you test your t4 and t3 before changing your dose? Or do you only look at TSH?
T3 and t4 of course.
and what do your readings for t4 and t3 say? What were your readings when your TSH was over 40 in 2021?
ThyroidLadyLondon, Nath27 has posted a photo of her thyroid test readings in her opening post. Her readings in 2021 are not relevant to her current situation.
I see the test results now. They are all in range. There’s no problem =) she should carry on as before and deffinitely not question why she was put on levo in 2021. Totally not relevant =)

What is this advice based on? Is this based on a study of some sort, or anecdotal evidence (which is fine, this is a forum, not a medical establishment after all). And is this relevant to people only on total hormone replacement, or does it apply to those on small doses of levo?
