GP Appointment

I would just like to thank members who responded to my two posts recently and the invaluable information supplied. I was really concerned about seeing my GP and my suppressed TSH.

I saw her yesterday, armed with print outs and information supplied here expecting horror at my suppressed TSH. Instead she looked at my blood levels, commented on the TSH but then said '...but your FT3 and FT4 are well within range...'. I was stunned to say the least.

She listened very quietly while I mumbled about a couple of the print outs I had in hand, nodded and told me I had clearly done my research. She did add that instead of the yearly visit for blood tests she would like to see me every six months - just to make sure that the FT3 and FT4 do not go over range. Hardly likely I thought.

I am amazed and in awe of the information you have to hand - thank you once again.
