Changing to bedtime dosing

I have taken my thyroxine this morning but want to trial nighttime dosing. Can I take a further dose tonight? If not, what is the best way to do this?

I am having absorption problems and need to see if this change will help. I have been advised in the past to allow two hours either side of thyroxine if taking at night, but I have always preferred morning dosing until this issue with the feeling of malabsorption.

I took 75 mcg this morning (on 75/100 at present).

I have booked an Endocrinoligysr appointment for next week but I want to see if this method will help until I get his advice on my current problems.

My latest results last week showed normal levels and vitamins (not sure on exact vitamin levels until I go to surgery to collect).

TSH 0.21 (0.4-4.9)

T3 4.4 (2.4--6)

T4 15.7 (9-19)

Sailing, don't take your morning dose tomorrow just take it at night instead et voila!

Thank you. Is it restricted to no food afterwards? Or if two hours pass can I have a small snack?

It would be nothing for an hour after it and taken on an empty stomach so a couple of hours after a meal I take half my dose on waking and half at bedtime. This leaves the rest of the day clear for supplements or other medication. For a while I tried a dose in the afternoon but it clashes with a cup of tea and cake so I quickly stopped that.

Thank you for your help. This is levothyroxine that I am referring to and not t3. Would the routine be the same?
