Oh, this is interesting. I need to look up the price of Armour as am in the process of switching from self-sourcing to a private prescription. Can you link me to the list please?
The NHS really need to get their act together to ensure that patients who need T3 can have it made available. For some it is life saving, for most life enhancing...for all essential!
Costs have reduced but, for example, £2.86 for a 20mcg tablet is daylight robbery...
particularly if supraphysiological doses are required.
Are we expected to be grateful for this provision?
T3 can be sourced abroad for a fraction of the cost but this leaves patients trawling the globe for (hopefully) reliable sources. And, medicating without the safety net of the NHS....or the confidence that they will have a regular supply.
They are left hanging by a thread!
Is there any other group of patients with a life threatening condition who are denied the medication/treatment that allows them to function?
We will never know how many are barely existing - or dying - in despair, without the T3 they need. That. a consequence of both medical ignorance and neglect... along with the effect of the financial clout of Big Pharma who are responsible for these costs.
I agree with you that some people can only recover their health with T3 and I am one of those. I have tried the other options but only T3 resolved my awful symptoms.
