Love how we are told that levo is the hormone of choice due to its stability.

I also love the way patients are supposed to continue taking it!

Patients should continue to take medicines from this batch as prescribed by your healthcare professional.

Just another contributor to the dustbin of no clue, no insight whatsoever, WTF medicine.

What that really means is: It's not actually dangerous so won't do you any harm, but it's under potency so won't do you much good either!

Worse: And we won't even tell you about the issue!

We've had so many who have suspected some issue with a medicine but soldiered on in ignorance.

More often I notice that medical professionals and pharmacists don’t care! I cannot take TEVA Pravastatin…. I did ask for this to be noted at my local independent pharmacy YET they gave me TEVA! I refused it. Was told they would look for another brand… when they did , it came inside a box branded ALMUS… but on the back of the tablet packet it indicated TEVA! So questioned it… they said that’s all they could get… so fobbing me off … knowing I can’t have TEVA! How safe is that? I wonder why there is such a shortage and why they think it is acceptable and ethical and safe to fob patients off.

I might have mentioned this before… so apologies for repeating myself… but not amused and wondering how people suffer the same fate,

I encourage members to subscribe to MHRA alerts and recalls!

Although I do post them when I think they are relevant, that usually means I only do so for thyroid medicines and a few others that I think might help.

You might be taking anything!

Also, I could easily miss an alert, or take time to notice and post.

You avoid those issues by directly subscribing for yourselves and those close to you.
