Yes you can but you should take magnesium 4 hours away from Levo.

Gosh I take mine less than 4 hours after. Do we know why? Perhaps I should switch back to taking my levo at night...

There are quite a few supplements/medication that require a 4 hour gap (iron, calcium, magnesium, Vit D, PPIs, oestrogen, HRT, off the top of my head) and this is because they can affect the absorption of Levo and reduce it's effectiveness.

Thank you, good to know as I take high potency magnesium and vit D with K2. I can easily switch these to a later time. Or, to make life easier take the levo at night. That way I can timetable my life in a manageable way.

I take my Levo at night, but occasionally, around maybe a couple of hours later with my legs driving me mad twitching away I will take a couple of magnesium to calm everything down so that I can go to sleep.

I much prefer calmed down legs and arms enabling sleep, to whether my Levo is sitting pretty or not.

That’s why I want to start taking magnesium because my legs have been so bad twitching and aching I thought I would give magnesium a try to see if it would help. I take my Levo in the morning though because my doctor told me I shouldn’t take it at night. I don’t know how true that is though.

It’s better taken at night because you know you haven’t eaten for hours.

not necessarily because I kept peeing in the night so went back to morning dosing. Jo xx
