The USA FDA's DailyMed site continues to list Pfizer's Cytomel product - as it has for years:
dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailym...
However, the brand name "Cytomel" is also used by other companies (e.g. legally by Ace in Netherlands).
And many, many suppliers and patients use the name Cytomel to refer to absolutely any liothyronine products. People seem more likely to search for Cytomel than Liothyronine!
If the supplier is a legitimate pharmacy that requires a prescription, please let us know who they are so we can check it out.
If the supplier does NOT require a prescription, please let me know who they are by Private Message.
Thank you, I had asked them to clarify and they came back shortly to say they have stopped selling it rather than it has been discontinued! I've been told that tiromel is weaker than cytomel hence nervous to change as have been on the former for years!
