T3 discontinued

I have a conversion problem from t4 to t3

My endo wrote advising stoppage of t3 medication

I have written back as I strongly feel if t3 stops then I might as well stop taking t4 which has no benefit

My Tsh is 0.04 free t4 is 7.8 pmol free t3 is 4.2 pmol

Keep thinking of my alternatives last 28 days of t3 which has changed my life for the better

Would I be able to get a natural thyroid or combined t4 t3 dose

Even consider glandular or anything to optimise t3 production

It is taking over my life

Where is a reputable supplier of t3 either in uk or abroad

If anyone sends you a PM suggesting where to buy T3, as a precaution please contact myself or one of the Admin Team to ensure any information you have been sent is for a genuine supplier.

I think SlowDragon might have some information about what to do when it's suggested that prescribed T3 is stopped.

Have a months supply of t3 and waiting for reply from endo

This has happened to many people and I will give you a couple of links.

There has been a Petition in the Lords about the withdrawl and you should also contact your local MP to tell him you've had your life-giving hormone removed due to the cost. It isn't out fault the NHS cannot fund reasonable cost T3.

Fight it, I did and mine were reinstated. Phone your local ccg to find who deals with individual funding for you and get letter in immediately. It took me 10 months to get it back and for that time my endo did me a private prescription. Don't accept your life changing meds being stopped. X
