Eyesore 😬,

I'm on it. Will listen this afto whilst doing my yoga stretches. And I like Liz Earle 😍.

You wanted info on the new Lifecode Metabolic report. It's new so there aren't any reviews yet and I haven't enquired about cost as am not interested now I'm feeling a bit better, but details are here. .. . lifecodegx.com/metabolics-r...

Liz Earle asks the right questions doesn't she, I always pick up something new and feel empowered.

Great to hear you are feeling a bit better... me too πŸ€—

These do look really interesting BUT Starter package £399 before access to the other tests within 3 months, no price on these 😧 long list of Practitioners... I shall store it away, Thank You

I've been touting about looking at the research opportunities that are looking for guinea pigs as it seems things are gearing up in this area so I will keep on looking.

Eeeyore,

Yes, genetic testing with a practitioners input is exorbitant as you are paying for their knowledge and follow up recommendations based on the findings. I've done enough digging for now.

Have you checked out the Zoe stuff? They don't offer genetic testing but the health and nutritional program is good value considering it involves a gut test, blood fat testing, real time blood glucose monitoring (for two weeks) and provides a personalised program based on results.

Yeah, I'm not sure I want someone else tinkering at the moment as I have seen great improvement over the last 6 months, since I have taken the reins... fearful of knowing too much or obsessing... hoping a little ignorance can be bliss 😏

I'm going to enjoy this good phase and work on empowering my adrenals

Hidden has just started on the Zoe journey so she is scouting it out for us πŸ˜‰, she reports in... when she isn't too stressed out keeping many balls in the air and trying to move house 😱

I LOVE IT. I am a big fan!

It's alright, our buyer pulled out so I'm looking on the bright side... One less thing to worry about for awhile. πŸ€ͺ

I'm a total convert to the Zoe way of eating.

Property thing is a nightmare, step daughter looking at a flat and reported back that there's a really nice man and his dog live in the basement.... what basement?! Turns out she is drawn to the dodgy conversions πŸ™„...... next

Foods are scored based on your blood sugar and gut results.

It then scores your food intake each day... The aim is a day of 75 and over.

My cuppa with sugar scores 51 so it really drags my days score down... It might be the thing that makes me kick the sugar from my tea!!

Witchinghour,

I think I'm gonna love it too as get bored doing it all on my own. Don't have sugar in my tea but it might make me consider my chocolate intake!

I've only just rediscovered the joy of biscuits... I might hold off with signing up for this 😏 Also I really resent being smart phone dependant and having to log things constantly 😩

in reply to TiggerMe

It's a bit of a pain but actually, it's really useful... It's really cementing the different way of eating and thinking about food.

I'm focused on the gut health and my gut health results were dire so when I log a food thats scored low I get a bit frustrated that it's undoing the hard work I've put in.

in reply to radd

It's brilliant; I got some surprising results... Parsnips, for example, only scored 34 for me!

I just looked; for me, dark chocolate of 70% + cocoa scores 62 'enjoy reguarly' so you might get lucky! :D

Come on 😳... you're holding back on the digestive biscuit score πŸ™

😐 your score could be wildly different to mine though!

πŸ˜’ I forgo the chocolate bit πŸ€—

in reply to TiggerMe

Worse without the chocolate!

But I have terrible blood sugar control and mediocre blood fat control. If I was better at both those things then it would score higher!

πŸ€” I always wonder how the same chocolate can taste so different depending upon its shape.

Similar to block and grated cheese.
