What do you mean by 'clash with your levothyroxine'? If you are asking whether you can take them at the same time, then no, not a good idea. Always take thyroid medication well away from anything else. Maybe take the turmeric at a mealtime, as is usually suggested for most dietary supplements.
I know when and how to take levothyroxine. I always leave plenty of time before taking any supplement or food. Probably, what I should have said does taking turmeric have any adverse reaction with Levothyroxine. Usually get everything (tablets) from a chemist and always ask if it will affect Levo performance - this time I purchased turmeric on line - It is surprising the amount of tablets etc the pharmacist doesn't recommend taking at all when on thyroxine - hence the question!
Ah, I see I tried turmeric capsules some years back, but stopped after a few weeks when I realised they didn't agree with me. I'm not sure why being on thyroxine should make a difference though. After all, you would likely be ingesting turmeric if you eat spicy, curry type foods.
