Thyroid/gut/kefir grains

I make my own goats milk kefir to look after my gut as I have no thyroid and believe in keeping myself as well as I can, as I think others do.

I am keen to replace my kefir grains with some fresh and am wondering if anybody on here can guide me to the best place as it isn't something that I would like to buy from E-bay/Amazon....

If this isn't allowed to ask could I please receive a private message?

Thank you

Hi Margo,

I used to make water kefir with grains purchased from eBay and Etsy. They worked well.

It was a few years ago but I just picked out a seller that just sold kefir and had good feedback.

Unfortunately I no longer make it. Hopefully someone on the forum will be able to private message you.

Best wishes.

I used to make milk kefir then had a long break from it then decided at the end of last year to start again. I have IBS so found kefir good for me. I just bought some grains from Amazon, went by positive reviews and even though my grains got delayed massively by the postal strike they turned up safely and were still live.

I've been impressed that even with my cold house (I'm stingy with the heating) they've still produced kefir and the grains have increased in size.

I’ve bought organic water kefir grains from a number of amazon suppliers; I usually go by customer reviews when making a choice. All have worked well…. Until I go on holiday/ have a break and need to start again!
