Welcome to the forum

Can you add the ranges on these results (figures in brackets after each )

TSH is higher than typical suggesting your thyroid is struggling

Was test done early morning?

This gives highest TSH

TPO antibodies…..result looks like it’s high /over range. This would confirm autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto’s

Request GP test full iron panel test for anaemia including ferritin. Also Vitamin D, folate and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common with Hashimoto’s

Hairloss and chest pains often low iron/ferritin

I had a lot of pain/discomfort around the breast bone area when I was found deficient in Vitamin d and b12. One of them was the culprit as it disappeared with either the b12 shots or vitamin d supplementation.

All the best to you.

Please add reference ranges that came with these results, ranges vary from lab to lab so we need your lab's ranges to be able to interpret your results .

Do you have a diagnosis of hypothyroidism and are you on any thyroid medication ?

Did you do the test as we advise :

* No later than 9am

* Nothing to eat or drink except water before the test

* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before (if you take it)

* No biotin or B Complex or any supplement containing biotin for 3-7 days before the test

A normal healthy person with no thyroid problem will generally have TSH no higher than 2, often around 1, with FT4 around mid-range-ish.

Your TSH is slightly over range which would usually suggest that your thyroid is struggling, although your FT4 is just about mid range af 49%.

Your TPO antibodies are raised which suggests autoimmune thyroid disease, known to patients as Hashimoto's . Hashi's is where the immune system attacks the thyroid and gradually destroys it ultimately leading to hypothyroidism .

If the test is repeated and you get a second over range TSH with raised antibodies then NICE guidelines suggest that you should be started on Levothyroxine .

As Hashi's can cause gut and absorption problems which can lead to nutrient deficiencies, it would be a good idea to ask your GP to test

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

You are welcome to post results/ranges when you have them and we will be happy to comment .

I'm am keen to encourage people to take a proper look at your sex hormones for the sake of your future bone, heart, brain and thyroid health.... especially with a dodgy thyroid which often drags them down and can effect your ability to convert T4 if your progesterone is low... a lot of your symptoms point towards a lack of hormones which all need balancing 🤗

Much easier to see where your bloods are at post meno as things have settled down, Medichecks offer a finger prick one
