DiO1 testing current availability December 2022

HelloI did post this some time ago which is the best Dio1 gene test available atm as I read quite a few companies have removed it, is 23andme or MTHR genetics better?

hi, I didn't know that these were available, we need testing for this and it's taking years, if I could get it done differently it could change my family's lives, we all have an absorption problem and we fight for meds.

I had this test done recently as the 23andMe DNA test I had done a couple of years ago only genotypes certain genes. They do DIO1 but not DIO2. The Blue Horizon one covered all the genes 23andMe didn't.

Hi,I've had Dio2 done, I thought they only look at Dio1 and Dio2? Or are there variants from them?

There was money off the test originally and with the 30% off I only paid £94 for it. Hope this helps.

Having trouble navigating to the code? I've had Dio2 test only really need Dio1 so that's why I asked if 23andme still done Dio1 as I could not find details on their website

I got my DNA tested by 23andMe a couple of years ago and had 5 different DIO1 SNPs typed. Don't know if they still genotype them or not
