With a TSH that high in range you are under-medicated.

Your dose is an odd one.
From the STTM website
stopthethyroidmadness.com/a...
I found out there are several strengths of Armor available and how much there is in one grain :
Strengths: 1/4, 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, 3, 4 and 5 grain tablets.
One grain is 60 mg and contains .038 mg (or 38 mcg) of T4 and 9 mcg of T3,
How can you be taking 160mg of Armor? It equates to 2 and two-thirds of a tablet which must be very difficult to cut.
It's extremely difficult to cut. They don't come in grains anymore, they come in milligrams. I wish they came in grains, I understood that. Thank you for your response.
So how do you achieve a dose of 160mcg Armour? Do they make tablets in that dose, or are you taking a combination that adds up to 160mcg? If yes, what are the strengths of the combination tablets?
How odd that vitamin D affects your blood sugar
Generally links suggest it improves blood sugar control
Also in this research…suggests huge reduction in likelyhood of development of T1D
openrheumatologyjournal.com...
irrespective of dose, and regardless baseline 25(OH)D status, a reduced risk of developing T1D throughout adulthood. Furthermore, in children who received at least the recommended vitamin D dose (2000 units/day) regularly, this risk was reduced by about 80% [60].
