has anyone had any experience of these? I’ve been using Better You vit D+ K2 and it doesn’t seem to do much for me even by doubling the dose so I’ve been looking at other products…
This brand called Clean looks good and in high strengths too… has anyone tried it?

Obviously it's personal choice who/where you buy from but some members dislike the fact that this company goes to great lengths to diss many other brands, with more space on their web page slagging off other brands than giving information about their own, there are more subtle ways of promotion! But cost is a major factor here.
Looking at the D3/K2 supplement, it is very expensive. Check how their cheapest option of 90 capsules for £27.34 = 30p per capsule compares with the clean supplements I buy.

So 5000iu D3 plus 100mcg K2-MK7 = 0.119, so say 12p per dose
If you want a combined clean supplement then
Nature Provides D3/K2 3,000iu/50mcg is £21.34 for 160 doses of 3,000iu D3 = 0.133p, and if you wanted to take 5,000iu by increasing the number of drops you take then it works out at 8 drops instead of 5 and that would be 100 doses so 21p per dose.

Both those K2-MK7 supplements are the recommended "all trans" version rather than the "cis" version (a bit like methylfolate is the better version rather than folic acid).
Nature Provides does a clean B12 containing two bioavailable forms of B12, again you can tailor the number of drops to how much you need

I've yet to actually click on your link, but I'm getting negative vibes just from the name 'Clean' (implying others are Dirty?), coupled with web address beginning with 'British'. I am British and happy to see and support 'home grown' where relevant, but this shouts prejudice to me, which I don't like.
I’m not sure it smacks of prejudice but it sounds a bit odd to me. If you do want to buy a British made product then it’s really not difficult to find that sort of thing online. I’m also not sure about the ‘clean’ either, as you say - are other products dirty? I’ve never seen this company before but I’m not keen on their approach. It seems a bit odd to me.
Viridian is a UK based supplements company. I don't claim to have any special knowledge or experience of their products, but the company and their products sound much more appealing to me.
Their website says they've just launched a vit D spray which they claim the ingredients to be sustainably sourced, non-GMO, palm-oil free and non-animal tested. Sounds clean to me! viridian-nutrition.com/blog...
I use many Viridian products and have always been pleased with them. In particular, I use their Vitamin D drops with great affect, either dropped straight into my mouth or on my porridge (they’re flavoured with orange oil). Strangely, I found the Better You spray gave me oral thrush
The guy does rant on a bit, but I now buy all my supplements from them (for past 5 months). I am due a blood test soon so it will be interesting to see how good my vitamin levels are. As an aside I have been taking their turmeric and it has done wonders for my arthritis. They fast and efficient at sending out the products, I am very pleased with them
Yes, I used these back in August to kick start my B12 1300ug and Vit D/K2 10,000iu which did the trick as I went from bottom to top of range in 8 weeks.
They do rather shout about their 'clean' credentials but it is true they don't have any extras added so you don't waste time reading through all the excipients...
I bought them with a 20% off deal but they are a little pricier, I've since swapped to sub lingual Vit D/K2 and Thorne Basic B complex
Just because they don't list any 'extras', doesn't mean they're not in the supplements. The only way to be sure what's in their supplements is to get them tested in a lab. But even if I'm willing to believe they are 'clean' supplements, having looked at the first page of the site, I'm shocked at all the slagging off! I feel all that slagging off of who owns who, and why he and his products are so amazingly wonderful, is trying to brain wash me. It's not working for me, and actually sent me running in the opposite direction!
Fair enough 😉... I bought them whilst at my lowest and didn't read all the other dross to be honest 🤗 since then I have moved on as they didn't offer what I wanted.

Fair statement for all of them! Some have glitzier websites and make all sorts of claims... it's all just advertising dross.... all that glistens isn't gold... isn't that what they say?
Did you get your vitamin test done on NHS or private? If private which company did you use. I’ve just moved back to the Uk so am not sure how accommodating my GP will be….

I don't think the NHS are particularly interested in vitamin levels! They might test you once but unless you are outside their very wide range you won't get a retest any time soon!

The most popular private testing companies are Medichecks, Blue Horizon and Monitor My Health. If click on the link below it takes you to a list on ThyroidUK's main website and then click on each company for information and discount codes.

Blue Horizon and Medichecks are "middle men" who sell you the test then an accredited lab processes them. They both offer fingerprick tests or, for extra cost, you can arrange venous blood draw. They often use the same lab to process the tests.
Monitor My Health is an NHS lab at Exeter hospital who offer certain tests to the general public, they tend to be cheaper than the other two and because they're an NHS lab the results might be more acceptable to a GP but there's no guarantee any GP will accept any private tests. All MMH tests are fingerprick tests.
Blue Horizon gives you 12 months to use your test but check expiry date of tube.
Medichecks gives 120 days to use your test, check date on tube.
Monitor My Health gives you until the expiry date on the box/tube rather than a certain amount of time so it's important to check as soon as you get your kit.
Simply to add to the suggestions of British companies, there is Cytoplan, which seems to be recommended by naturopathic and homeopathic doctors.
And things arrive promptly too which helps.

How do you know the vitamin d + k2 supplement you have been taking is not doing much? Did you test your vitamin d before and after? I'm interested because I am also taking that, I'm due for tests in January so I don't yet know if it's working

I use Amy Myers D3/K2. No added nasties and fillers, plus as liquid easily absorbed. Although it’s quite expensive , 1 drop = 1000 IU so it lasts longer than most others I’ve bought. I get it from Amrita nutrition
