hi all

I have been on armour 7 weeks and not felt great. Hoping it will pick up.

is there any chance someone could comment on my latest bloods as it’s just impossible to get any follow up until January now.

thank you in advance:

I take 2 and half grains a day.

TSH 0.01. 0.270 -4.2

Free t3 5.6. 3.1- 6.8

FT4 16.5. 12- 22

thank you

Have you managed to get full iron panel test done yet, or folate, vitamin D and B12

Important all four vitamins are at good levels for levothyroxine, T3 or NDT to work

Those results are pretty much what one would expect when on NDT with a low TSH, FT4 at 45% through range and FT3 at 67.57% through range.

It's still early days in your Armour journey so given time you may feel better. But it could be that you might find the T4:T3 ratio in Armour isn't right for you and you might do better to tweak Levo and T3 to find the right ratio for you, or if your key nutrients aren't optimal then optimising them can help.

It sucks feeling tired all the time. Are you taking your amour with water 30 mins before anything else? I take 1.5 grains when I wake up and 1 grain around mid afternoon. I am also gluten free and don't eat or drink anything with additives or preservatives. My folate tends to be low so I take good suppliments too. I take my suppliments at lunch time so they can't interfere with my amour. If you're doing all of this, you should start feeling better in a few weeks. I find if I eat processed food, I get chronic fatique/fibromyalgia symptoms.

When feeling well on NDT my FT3 is always higher than yours 6 plus something. It could be that you should increase my 1/4 or 1/2 and then retest in a few more weeks. I found that this NDT is weaker than Thyroid s.
