thyroid s need advice

Have started new batch thyoid s 3 days ago. Was taking 2.5 old batch. Only took 60 mcg of new and the rest of the old batch for these 3 days in a row. For the first 2 days after morning dose I felt wired and shaky but it quickly passed and I felt well . This morning after the new 60 mcg thyroid s , I take around 4 am and went back to sleep, I woke in a complete sweat , very shaky and heartrate 96 still lying in bed. Felt very shaky, tremors, spacey and now 4 hrs later all those symptoms are gone. The batch number is TA22006. Received in July. They appear to have slight green tint. Anyone else having this experience on this batch?. Dont know how to proceed ahead. Thankyou

The manufacturers themselves have said that each batch is different so it's best to test after starting a new batch.

I would also contact your supplier, they may have had other people report a problem with the same batch.

Please do not name any supplier on the forum.

Hello, I am sorry that you have felt like this. All I can say is that each time I start a new bottle, the amount I need is slightly different. Because the manufacturers are unable to measure the exact amount of thyroid hormone taken from each pig's thyroid, the batches vary a bit. I believe that this is why doctors do not like prescribing them, because the ingredients are not exact, like Levothyroxin. I have cut my dosage back when I have felt like that. I use my elevated heart rate as my monitor and keep my dose to a level that doesn't cause it. It is frightening! I have experienced it. I hope you will feel better soon. Best wishes x

Hi Sadiethedog. Thankyou , thats exactly what i did do and am feeling better. I am very slowly working my way to the dose I need on this new batch. Lesson learned. Thankyou again.
