I don't think anyone knows with any certainty if your jabs will influence your tests in any way. They probably affect people differently.
I had my winter Covid booster last November and just by coincidence happened to test 10 days later. My FT3 had shot up from around it's normal 70%ish through range to 95% through range, my FT4 also but to a lesser extent. I tested again two months later and my FT3 was even higher at 100% through range, FT4 roughly the same as the previous test. I had to reduce my dose of T3 and 4 months later reduce my dose of Levo. Last test was last months, 3 months after reducing Levo, and now my FT3 has plummeted to 35% through range and I've had to increase T3 dose.
So for me it messed up my hormone levels big time, but not many members have reported this but that could just be because I happened to test and they may not have done.
So if you go ahead and test after the jab compare it with previous test and see if there's much difference, then I'd repeat again in 3 months just to check if any kind of delayed reaction has occurred.
There really are a lot of unknowns with the Covid jab, maybe not so much with the flu jab. I can't say if the flu jab makes a difference with me because I don't have it.
My FT4 and FT3 were high last summer a month or so after my Covid booster and several months after an increase in my Levo dose. I lost weight and my blood pressure went up. Assumed it was the Levo but someone on here linked the jab with weight loss.
I’ve reduced my Levo by skipping a dose each week and this year FT4 and FT3 were back in a reasonable place. The weight has plateaued. Fortunately it hasn’t gone back up .
I’ve just had my booster again. If I could afford it I’d do another test to see if my FTs have risen again.
