Morning all,

I have hypothyroidsim and on my medichecks blood test in Jan this year my b12 was 89.800 (37.5-188).

This seems low.

I've been taking Thorne Basic b for 18months but just one tablet.

Ive put in a call to my GP as I'm concerned this wasnt tested in my annual check with them last month.

Any advice regarding a good supplement or injections?

Thank you.

Medichecks tests ACTIVE B12 - result over 70 is GOOD

Range is 37-188

NHS tests serum B12 - usually 180-780 approx

With serum B12 test you would want at least over 400

What were vitamin D, folate and ferritin results on last test

Yes, I agree active >70 seems good. My dad's just had his Medichecks result and his is 79.4 (upper range indicated 150, so 37% through). Also only 1 Thorne B for 5m after previous result of 61.
