I thought I would let members know the amazing results my daughter has had from taking Biotin,
She has been taking it for 3 months and her hair has really grown and become thicker, her nails are stronger, and best thing of all, which we are quite surprised about is, that her outer third of her eyebrows have grown back.
I am not quite sure what dose she is taking but if anyone is interested I will find out and let you know.
Best wishes.

That’s wonderful. I have been taking Biotin for about 2 months and was wondering whether it was really worth while. I will certainly carry on now! How much does she take?
Just a note of caution. If having any blood tests, stop the biotin before having the blood draw.
Several blood tests (including TSH, FT4 and FT3 as well as quite a number of others) can be affected if you are taking a biotin supplement.
This only affects the blood tests from some test manufacturers - not all. And there is no way of making an allowance for the effect.
If on a low to medium dose, a few days to a week should be plenty of time to stop.
If on high or very high dose, a full week could be needed. These doses are only usually used in conjunction with multiple sclerosis where there are ongoing trials of it.
And, to give a more rounded view of what might be happening regarding multiple scerosis treatment:
