Zinc supplement

What's the best form of zinc to take, there seem to be so many.

And when is the best time to take it? I take most of my supplements together with my evening meal which probably isn't the best way to do it.

Thanks

Have you tested to know you need it Anthea? Zinc and copper should be balanced and we hypos tend to have one high and the other low so we need to make sure we are supplementing correctly. If you know you need it then avoid zinc oxide, it's the sort that's in nappy rash cream and sun cream and not the best form.

Thanks, SeasideSusie

I've been taking it for several years, but I've tended to pick up whatever they've got at the health food store or supermarket. I've been thinking it's time to retest soon. I'll avoid the oxide version, thanks.

When I looked into zinc (quite a while ago) it said it should be around mid-range.
