I started with 2 grains split (1grain in the morning +1/2+1/2) a week ago and I have pain in my legs, and toes, I'm hot, fast pulse, I can't sleep well, etc. How long does it take until I feel better?

Hi, personally I would reduce your dose and increase more gradually. With Armour I can only take quarter of a grain at a time else I get palpitations. That's why I mix thyroid s with Armour.

You could try taking quarter grain several times a day? It's trial & error.

Also if iron cortisol, vit D etc not optimal the t3 in ndt is too strong.

Hope you feel better soon.

I think they are symptoms of overdose until the synthetic in me decreases. In the past, I tried to start with lower doses but quickly I became hypo(in 3 days). very bad. I take daily doses of vit d3 and iron.I have no palpitations nor arrhythmia just beat faster, 90 at rest and 110/120 when I walk my dog. I was on 125 levo &15 T3 sintetycs.

Yes this the same for me, starting low makes me very ill. In the past I've started high then reduced as opposed to starting low.

The exception was Armour in which I could only tolerate a grain split onto quarters. Found Thyroid S challenging too, but they are both very effective.

I think I have wait until the situation setlle down. I think Armour stronger then Erfa. I tried Thiroyd - s too but I gain weight.

It's so strange what works for some doesn't always work for others! I agree though that Armour is stronger than Erfa.
