I’m a bit puzzled by the amounts. I thought that Erfa came in 30mg, 60mg, and 125mg strength tablets?

Yes, I have 60,s and 30,s which I,ve been using a pill cutter to get my right dose.

:) I’m intrigued as to how you’re getting yourself an 11.5mg dose. Just how precise is your cutting? :)

So you’re taking 86.5mg a day on total? (Gotta say, if it was me, I’d take 90mg and do away with the pill cutting...)

There’s no reason why you couldn’t just push your 4.30 dose to bedtime. I don’t think there’s really much benefit to splitting one’s NDT dosage further. I take mine (3 grains or 195mg of Nature Throid) in 2 doses of 1.5 grains each, morning and evening.

Why do you want another dose split? Are you experiencing symptoms? Could you be undermedicated?

Edited to add—I’ve just looked at your blood tests from 2m ago. You did appear to be rather undermedicated—your FT3 was quite low in range.

Hi I was under the impression to up your dose a little at a time.I did up it to 90 a while ago but I think I added to much and felt really hyper and had awful palpitations so I,ve been trying to do it gradually,so now I'm up to 86.5 I will up it to 90 now.I did read on here a while back that some people do space their meds out through the day,so really I just wanted to know how much to take, more so in the evening as I haven't been sleeping very well as I said on my last post. Also been trying to get my vitamin levels up.Thanks for your reply.

By splitting our doses can mean that our way of life will be more complicated than taking one daily dose so that all receptor cells would be saturated which then send out 'waves' throughout the day. I am aware that some do split.

We are on lifetime medication so the easier and less complicated it is the better.

The website is archived due to Dr Lowe dying through an accident. I don't know why you cannot open the link as I can. It could be your security.

This is a repeat of the link above.

The link works fine.

It must be something about your setup - not pointing my finger at you, could be the DNS service you use, some sort of blocking software, etc.

A lot of his website is available in a PDF I created - here. You will get a warning of being redirected when you click on links here on HealthUnlocked.

Thank you. I believe it could also be due to the website being closed for a few years after Dr Lowe's accident which caused his death. So, I think, that his site was 'closed' for a while, maybe due family discord or whether or not something to do with his 'last will and testament'.
