I’m home now after suffering a Takitsubos heart attack and feel my thyroid must have also taken a great strain as well, not just from the heart attack but also because of the X-ray and other tests I had also wear they injected dye into my body and heart. I’m currently on 87.5 a day ( 100 one day and 75 the next). I was on 100 each day but when my tsh dropped my Dr wanted me to reduce my dose which I did, that was in June. The day Before my heart attack I had a thyroid blood test at my surgery Which I got the results back today which are TSH 4.9 ( range 0.27-4.29 mlUL). T4 17.9 (range 12.00-22 pmol) No T3 sorry. Would you advise me to go back up to 100? Especially after having a heart attack - I don’t know what to do. Like I said the above results were the day before I had it so I’m wondering that my levels now could actually be higher after all my body’s been through. Really appreciate your help and advise thank you x

Thank you helvella for the links which I’ll read later as they don’t sound good news, but better to be informed and prepared for what may come I guess, I certainly will read them all later Thanks again for your reply
