What do others do when your TSH is creeping up but you are struggling increasing levothyroxine

Every year my annual thyroid test seems to be creeping up and then GP prescribes more levothyroxine (current dose 150mcg, suggested new dose 175mcg) but I'm getting terrible palpations at times and just feeling rubbish. I just had a private blood test from Medichecks - here are my results

TSH -5.52mU/L (Range -0.27 - 4.2 )

FREE T3- 5.09pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8 )

FREE THYROXINE -19.1 pmol/L (12 - 22)

THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODIES - 44IU/mL (< 115)

THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES - 132 - IU/mL (< 34)

I would appreciate ANY ideas/suggestions what to do or where to go next ? Many thanks!

I would definitely listen to your body!!! I have told doctors this when asking for a higher dose: I willknow when I’m on too a high a dose because of how awful I feel!!!

How do you feel on the lower dose? Do you feel like you’re at full thyroid function? (I ask because if not, it might not be a case of more levothyroxine, but a different medicine).

Thanks for your reply and yes I feel like I'm still having loads of hypothyroid symptoms but don't feel able to take more levothyroxine. So yes will definately look into the alternative medications!

When I felt I couldn't increase levo the endo suggested splitting my dose. That did the trick for me.
